Book an Information Session

The SECC can help coordinate your on-campus event. If you need to host an Information or Briefing Session, the SECC will work with you to make your event a success. 

Service includes:

  • A number of attractive on-campus, multimedia facility options
  • Promotion of your event to students via the CareerLink calendar, social media, and emails (other promotion options may be discussed)
  • RSVP collection for your event (please get in touch with your Employment Coordinator contact to obtain registration numbers).
  • A $150 administration fee applies to all information session requests.
  • Catering and A/V must be arranged between the employer and the venue. The venue bills the employer directly for room, catering and other charges.
  • Note: food is not permitted in classrooms

Cancellation fees may apply for information sessions cancelled with less than 7 days notice.

Note: Information sessions are not held during the following time periods:

  • Summer Break ( May - August) 
  • First week of Fall and Winter terms
  • Fall and Winter Mid-Term Breaks, or the weeks immediately following the breaks
  • Fall and Winter Final Exam Period

Built in 1912, the University Club is a beautiful field stone building nestled in a well-treed landscaped lot. The University Club is convenient to all campus locations and is the preferred venue of the Student Employment and Career Centre.

Food and beverage service is required when booking a room at the University Club.

Set on a beautiful location near the heart of the University campus, Louis' facilities and staff have everything you need to hold your next event. With a large outdoor deck, a fully stocked bar, and a range of food services including professionally catered meals, and buffet or full plated service, Louis' is ready to serve you. Catering options can include buffets, receptions, breakfast, lunch and dessert.

Food and beverage service is required when booking a room at Louis' facilities. AV is provided by Louis' and is included in the catering costs.

Fireplace Room


Louis’ Loft is located in the newly renovated space on the second floor of the Memorial Union Building. During the day we are a bustling coffee shop featuring Fair Trade coffee and teas, specialty beverages like caramel macchiatos, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes and mochas, and wine and liqueurs. Our new menu also features a variety of premium panini’s, sandwiches, and snacks. We proudly serve local draught beer from Great Western, Paddockwood, and Saskatoon Brewery, as well as spirits from Lucky Bastard Distilleries.

Food and beverage service is required when booking a room at Louis' facilities. AV is provided by Louis' and is included in the catering costs.

 Note that there is no food or drink allowed in classrooms.

The SECC Meeting Room, located in our centre in Lower Marquis Hall and just off Place Riel, is fully equiped with AV, phone, and a whiteboard, and can seat up to 12. It is available for information sessions, meet & greets, and interviewing. 

  • $300 (one full day)
  • $150 (half day, up to 4hrs)
  • $500 (one day with interview scheduling)

The room is available Monday to Friday 8:30-4:00.
